Former ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Star Apollo Nida, Phaedra’s Ex-Husband, Released From Prison
Not too long ago there was a seriously nasty battle brewing between former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks and her co-star Kenya Moore over Phaedra’s husband Apollo Nida. It was alleged that Kenya was setting up thirst traps in an attempt to break up their happy home. The sad truth was that allegedly Phaedra and Apollo’s home life was less than satisfactory. Things got so bad that within a few years Apollo would be in jail and Phaedra would be serving him with divorce papers. Fast forward to 2019 and Kenya is now living her best life with a new man and baby while Phaedra has been disgraced on the show. And although Apollo was scheduled to get out in eight years his sentence has been reduced and he’s now a free man. Well, almost.
An Explosive Ending
Many viewers will recall the tense moment between Apollo and Phaedra when it was evident their marriage was over. In 2014 Apollo, who was under investigation for fraud at the time, got into a heated argument with Phaedra while the RHOA cameras were rolling. And things took a turn for the worse very quickly.
Soon after, Apollo finally reported to Fort Dix Correctional Facility in New Jersey to start his bid. Although he and Phaedra’s divorce was finalized in 2017 he eventually found love once again with Sherien Almufti while incarcerated. The two have been engaged since 2016 and will probably marry soon since Apollo is now a free man. Though there’s still one final step to complete before he can really close the book on this chapter.
