While the old cliche says the good often outweighs the bad, most people would probably beg to differ when it comes to Keshia Knight-Pulliam and Ed Hartwell.
The love bombing phase of their whirlwind relationship came and went so fast, most people nearly missed the time they were actually together. Based on the ongoing drama they’re dealin’ with now, it’s safe to say the bad has definitely outweighed the good. The two or three months they were together is nothin’ compared to the years-long child support and custody battle they’re embroiled in now.
For those who missed most of the drama, Ed has been givin’ the former Cosby Show star the runaround since Day 1. Now, he’s back in court tryin’ to have his child support payments reduced, and the way he’s goin’ about it involves takin’ major shots at Keshia.
You Ain’t Got No Job:
According to Bossip, the former NFL player is hoping the judge will reconsider their current arrangement and rule in his favor to reduce the current $3,007 a month payment he’s shellin’ out to Keshia for child support. Although he’s arguin’ that the payments just aren’t in the budget, Keshia is arguing a different perspective, explaining why she needs every single dollar.

We all know Keshia hasn’t had a recurring acting role since House of Payne, so Ed just had to take a dig at her by reiterating the fact that her work isn’t consistent right now. But we all know Keshia isn’t one to back down and she clapped right back.

In response to Ed’s low blow, Keshia quickly posed an argument of her own, noting how ironic it is that Ed is so adamant about spending time with his daughter now, reports TMZ. Prior to the child support ruling, Ed wasn’t even claiming his daughter, but now he’s looking to split custody because he doesn’t want to pay Keshia.
The latest court battle between Keshia and Ed follows a long string of previous reports, highlighting the full timeline of their relationship. Due to all of the scathing reports, most fans now see Ed in a very unfavorable light.
In less than six months, Ed and Keshia went from dating to marriage, to pregnancy, and then divorce. Although they were married when Keshia conceived, the relationship took a nosedive when Ed became furious about the pregnancy. Despite her being his wife, he just didn’t want another child so quickly and he initially denied that the child was his – an action that ultimately blew up in his face.
To make matters worse, Ed is now expecting a third child with the woman he is said to have cheated on Keshia with. The retired NFL linebacker’s callous actions toward his ex-wife and his biological daughter have people everywhere givin’ him the side eye and rooting for Keshia.
He may be askin’ for the judge to rule in his favor, but his track record will likely make that very difficult. These two will probably be goin’ back and forth to court for years to come.
