As many of you recall, Cheryl Lynn, or rather someone claiming to be Cheryl Lynn on Twitter were highly offended that Anita Baker, who Cheryl allegedly had known since 1980, blocked her for no reason on Twitter.

According to what Cheryl Lynn’s manager, Thurlene Johnson, of Cheryl Lynn Productions said today, that Twitter account that is under Cheryl Lynn’s name and has many tweets and several behind-the-scenes pics and info about her, is apparently not Cheryl’s real account. As a matter of fact, they say she doesn’t even have a Twitter account. Ain’t that something? The Cheryl Lynn account has just been deleted, after having been up and very active for a pretty long time.

Here’s the statement her manager, Thurlene released via HelloBeautiful:

“Cheryl Lynn does not have a Twitter or Facebook account. The individual sending the communications is an imposter pretending to be Cheryl Lynn. Twitter has been made aware of this situation several times over the last two years. Careful scrutiny of the tweets reveals it is not a verified account.”

And there it is folks. It kind of makes you go “hmmm…” but we have to take it for what it is. Cheryl Lynn apparently does not have a Twitter account and whomever’s been running that Cheryl Lynn Twitter page and promoting her on there, is the person who had the problem with Ms. Baker. I tell ya,’ we learn something new everyday around here.
