Celebrities Are The Problem…

Yes. Believe it or not, apparently HBO is keeping the inaccurate documentary afloat due to celebrity support. TMZ reports as follows.

“HBO also told us it’s continuing to get very vocal support for ‘Neverland’ from celebs like Ellen DeGeneres, Sia, Bill Maher, Judd Apatow, Eve, Rosie O’Donnell and Gayle King.”

The media service says Leaving Neverland will continue to be available for months to come via its other platforms: HBO On Demand, HBO GO, and HBO NOW.

TMZ reports that HBO mentions the normality of slowly reducing documentary airings after several weeks. Nevertheless, the station allegedly will consider bringing it back to TV in the future.

What does that say about a company who’s willing to keep such a derogatory, inaccurate film in its repertoire? It seems they don’t care about Michael Jackson’s legacy or the irreparable damage they’re doing to his and his family’s name.

“All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us.” — Michael Jackson
