The current lineup for The Pointer Sisters are Ruth, her sister Anita Pointer, and they alternate between Ruth’s daughter, Issa and Ruth’s granddaughter, Sadako Pointer (the daughter of one of Ruth’s other children). It’s a real family affair going on, maybe the Pointer Sisters should cover one of Sister Sledge’s songs, “We Are Family” in their show…that song would definitely be fitting for them.
