George Clinton and his grandson are really close and they even perform together sometimes. Clinton is showing his grandson the ropes and even promotes his grandson’s music on his Facebook page sometimes.

That activity is their love of “Mary Jane.” N not Rick James’ song, we’re talking about the real deal. Apparently Tra’zae picked up on the habit early and that’s not the only thing he started early. He became a father at the age of 15 and now at the age of 23, he’s married and has three children. the best part of it all is that he takes care of his wife and children just like he should be.

According to George Clinton’s website:
During high-school [Tra’zae] conceived his first born daughter at the age of 15 which inspired him to write a song titled “Jay’anna” . [He] then conceived his first born son and was again inspired to produce/write a song titled “Tra’zae’s A G” to his first album “THE G” at the age of 16 2008. Clinton then continued to create music and started touring with his grandfather at the age of 17. Clinton then created his second album influenced by his grand-father and father titled “THE G 2 C”. Clinton then conceived his second son at the at the age of 18.

Can’t wait to hear more from Tra’Zae in the future, it’s good to see that he’s attempting to think outside of the box and bring a refreshing and different element to hip hop, unlike what many of these other so-called cookie cutter rappers are doing nowadays.

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
