When most of us, Old Schoolers, think of Jimmy Jam (59), we think of him as one half of the legendary producer duo, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Ever since the 80’s the two have become synonymous with chart-topping joints by artists like Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Yolanda Adams, Peabo Bryson, Vanessa Williams, and so many more. We also cannot mention Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis without mentioning where they started- as members of Flyte Time- turned Morris Day & The Time. Talk about the memories, huh? Anywho, today the topic of discussion isn’t about the group though, it’s about Jimmy Jam and his new look these days.
For decades, Jimmy Jam has been known to represent for the ‘big & tall’ brothas very well, as he rocked his classic black suit and/or trench coat, black hat, and black shades with swag. Fast forward to today however, and Jimmy Jam could also be referred to by the name, ‘Slim Jim.’
Matter of fact, after seeing the latest photos of him during his twins’ birthday celebration, I had to do a double take.
