Mrs. Debarge told Inside Edition that she is convinced that Tiffany is her granddaughter and the child of Janet Jackson and her son. See what else Mama Debarge had to say about this in the video below.

WHAT JAMES DEBARGE SAID ABOUT HIS ALLEGED “SECRET DAUGHTER” WITH JANET

In case you missed our previous report about this, James Debarge appeared on Growing Up Hip Hop with his daughter, Kristinia, who confronted him about the truth behind the “secret sister” she keeps hearing about. That’s when James told her everything he said he knew about the child, although we don’t know if he’s talking about the same woman, Tiffany, that his mom is referring to above:

“I’m tired of the secrecy. I’m tired of the truth not coming forward. And people being a coward when it comes to it. … To be honest I didn’t know. I was under the impression that there was no baby…I wanted to believe it’s not true. But the reality is, it is. … This is a shock to me. My dad telling me I have a half sister…It’s very, very, very weird.”

For whatever it’s worth, here’s something interesting that may coincide with James’ claims:
He previously that he never knew about the alleged love child because he claims Janet got pregnant just before their marriage was annulled in 1985. Soon after the annulment, he said Janet’s family instantly kept her hidden from him and he never got a chance to talk to her, nor see her during the time he thinks she was pregnant…

In 1984, Janet looked like this (from her 1984 “Dream Street” video):

But in 1985 Janet surfaced looking slightly fuller in her “Control” video than she was just a year prior:

That’s all probably one big coincidence, but we still thought it was worth mentioning based on the timeline James Debarge gave. Moving on…
