During a recent interview with CNN, Jim discussed his meeting with President-elect Donald Trump, the black community, and revealed how he truly feels about white people and what he said will blow your mind.

Support and Defense:

Of course, the NFL Hall of Famer has been scrutinized for meeting the Trump, who many Americans see as a closeted racist. However, Jim made it clear that he will be supporting Trump’s presidency and that he actually admires him.

“When he goes through what he went through to become the president, he got my admiration. No one gave him a chance,” Brown said. He went on to reveal most of the influential people in his life were white and how race isn’t much of a factor where he’s concerned.

“The three greatest people in my life were white, OK. My high school coach, my high school superintendent and my mentor in Manhasset, Long Island,” he added. “When I come out of the box, I don’t come out of the box as racial. I look for good people and people that will be like-minded and help me try to do good for other human beings.”

Trump’s Take On the Black Community:

Although many African-Americans aren’t convinced Donald Trump has everyone’s interest, Jim is. He went on to discuss the black community and how he was impressed with Trump’s perspective.

“I can’t speak for the pastor, but I fell in love with him, because he really talks about helping African-American, black people and uh that’s why I’m here.”

Social Media Reaction:

As expected, many aren’t pleased with the former Cleveland Brown. Despite what he says about Trump, social media users still aren’t convinced he’s for all of the American people.
