A couple of weeks ago, Tamar Braxton turned lots of heads when she blasted Iyanla Vanzant. For those who don’t know, Tamar and her sisters recently filmed a counseling session for Iyanla Vanzant: Fix My Life. Now, in most cases, people sit down with Iyanla to resolve problems, but apparently the Braxtons’ chat with Iyanla only made things worse; at least, according to Tamar.

In fact, it is said to have ended abruptly for Tamar, when she reportedly stormed out. After reports began to surface about Tamar’s run-in with Iyanla, the singer clapped back with a few unfavorable comments about the show’s host. If you didn’t hear what Tamar had to say, she called Iyanla everything, but a child of God and based on Iyanla’s profession, the comments could be considered as damaging.  Now, Iyanla is reportedly the one clappin’ back.

Defamation or Nah?:

According to Ebony magazine, Iyanla is reportedly firing back at the reality TV star/singer, but with a different brand of revenge. It has been reported that Iyanla is now planning to sue Tamar for defamation of character, over the comments she made after their disagreement while filming. Iyanla has reportedly expressed concerns about the scathing comments that were made after their session:

“Referring to Iyanla as a ‘fake’ and a ‘fraud’ could have serious implications on the casting process for Iyanla Fix My Life and her reputation in general. It’s her duty to protect her reputation, brand and OWN’s brand. At this point, this is defamation and there should be consequences.”

We all know Tamar has no cut about her and she doesn’t mince words. With that being said, you can probably guess how Tamar’s words came across – raw and uncut. So, what all did Tamar say? Well, she took to Instagram to put her feelings out there and she had no reservations about blasting Iyanla.

Lettin’ The World Know:

Last week, after Tamar appeared on The Wendy Williams Show, she took to Instagram to share details about her encounter with Iyanla. The “Love and War” singer accused Iyanla of sharing details about her personal life, without her consent and that she felt completely blindsided:

“Since someone there decided that they would ask me about something so private, so embarrassing, so secretive in front of EVERYONE that was there, I felt like my life was flashing before my eyes and IMMEDIATELY started to cry. Not because someone decided to allow someone else to tell MY SECRET, not because I was asked if it were True in front of a hundred strangers, but because once again my right to choose was taken from me all over again.”

Tamar went on to explain why she opted to share her truth with Wendy Williams. If you missed that episode, Tamar recently revealed she was molested as a child:

“I decided to Tell Wendy and the world MY secret, MYSELF that I have been a victim of abuse…not once, twice, ten, but multiple times, by multiple family members. … I’ve never told ANYONE other than Two people in my life and they both have held this close to them.”

Based on the way Iyanla is clappin’ back, it’s probably safe to say this feud between her and Tamar is far from over.
