Janet Jackson’s Ex Hubby Now Has A Wife Who Is Nothing Like Janet & A Different Career
With all the latest talk about the Janet Jackson separation from her billionaire son’s father, Wissam Al Mana, we were wondering what her ex-husband of 9 years, Rene’ Elizondo was up to. Clearly Janet and Rene have long ago moved on with her life, ever since divorcing in 2000 and what we found out about him is pretty interesting.

Aside from us realizing that Janet’s currently estranged husband, Wissam, looks like the long lost brother of Rene,’ there wasn’t much else they seemed to have in common. In particular, their wives couldn’t be more different.
Rene’s been married to his wife, Britt Elizondo (maiden name is Britt Coelho), since 2010, but they’ve been together a total of 14 years, and also have a beautiful daughter together…
Rene is 55 years old and his wife is about 36…he likes ’em a lil’ younger these days. Britt is of Portugese decent and she’s a real estate agent who sells luxury properties primarily in Malibu, Cali.. So yeah, Rene’s a far cry from being married to a superstar like Janet, but he and Britt look really happy living their quiet life together, away from the cameras.
Rene’s wife also posted this cool pic and caption of her hubby, who she playfully called him “baby daddy” on Father’s day…
WHAT RENE ELIZONDO DOES FOR A LIVING NOW…
Last we heard, Rene’ was (or still is) the creative director for Anvil Cases/ Calzone Case Co. where he’s been employed for several years.
Anvil is a company that makes high end industrial type carrier cases that have long been used by famous bands to lug around their most valued possessions on the road – their instruments, as well as by studio houses, including Warner Brothers. Rene helped the brand market and expand it’s product line, by offering industrial, yet extravagant iPhone cases, as well as a new high-end furniture line of the same look, called Industrial Elegance.

– Janet and Rene’ were together since the 80’s, the public thought they were just dating for many years, until their 2000 divorce happened and cost Janet a whole lotta coins in spousal support.
– Rene’ and Janet were together for a total of 14 years and he co-wrote 37 of her songs, including hits, “Come Back To Me,” “That’s the Way Love Goes,” “Together Again,” “Rhythm Nation,” and “Black Cat.”
– Bobby Brown revealed in his memoir, “Every Little Step: My Story,” that Janet cheated on Rene’ with him back in the day and also broke his heart like no other woman had EVER broke him before…not even Whitney Houston.
– Rene’ said he would NEVER write a tell-all book about his time with Janet because he had too much love for her to ever do that. Rene’ once told Jet Magazine this about writing a tell-all: “Never, never, never,” he stressed. “I never respected people who do that.”
