Jill Scott Had An Argument With Anita Baker?!?

Posted On : December 29, 2014

“It didn’t happen,” That’s a lie…Anita Baker is a hero to me. I grew up listening to her music. We just had a disagreement. She was still a hero to me that day, but it was just more than I could take so I was like, ‘You know what? It’s better for me to bow out and walk away,’” she shared this in an interview with New York Radio station Power 105.1. We understand Jill. And so good for you being so humble in all of this madness. Where’s the ‘Sweet Love’ in this? So, Mrs. Baker and Ms. Scott, please chime in!

The bright side in all of this is that, sometimes things happen in the midst of artists trying to deliver great music for their fans. It is a competitiveness that shines thru, and for us fans, it creates memorable moments that we’ll never forget! People like Anita Baker and Jill Scott are passionate about their work, and that’s not subjective, that’s evident in their bodies of work, and quality of their music, which is here for us to enjoy for many years to come. It’s easy to look at the beef, but we rarely look at the passion, so if beef is an ingredient for passion, in the words of Jill Scott, “Let It Be!” #OldSchoolNewsWithANewPointOfView
