Judge Overseeing R. Kelly’s Case Suddenly Stepped Down, She Knew About Alleged Affair He Had
Judge Steps Down But The Case Goes On!
It seems to be a never-ending story when it comes to R&B singer R. Kelly. Circuit Judge Adrienne Wooten will be recused from the case but the case will still continue! According to court documents filed back in January Wooten had filed a recusal order granting Bryant’s motion and will step down from the case due to her prior knowledge of an alleged affair Kelly had.
The Backdrop
In 2017 Kenny Bryant, a Mississippi police officer had sued R.Kelly alleging that the affair her had with his wife had ruined his life.
Bryant, who married Childress back in 2012 says he and Wooten discussed “the affair he claimed that his then-wife was having with R. Kelly, the likely divorce, and whether she would represent him in that divorce, and if he had a cause of action against R. Kelly.”
