The interesting thing about the Savages, is that Joycelyn revealed that her parents Tim and Jonjelyn Savage, sent her to live with R. Kelly when she was approximately 16 or 17. She claimed that they knew where she was the entire time and that they are ‘out to get money’ from R. Kelly.

The Savages, who were featured on Surviving R. Kelly, have repeatedly claimed that R. Kelly is holding their daughter ‘hostage’ as a ‘sex slave,’ which Joycelyn denies.

R. Kelly also reportedly claimed that the Savages were cool with him in the beginning, until he refused to fund their alleged business ambitions of starting some type of sex toy line or something of that nature.

Additionally, the Savages also raised some red flags among fans, when it was later revealed that they reportedly shopped around a giddy reality TV show trailer that surfaced, which was supposedly about their family road trip styled mission to find Joycelyn, who was with R. Kelly at the time….and still is.

Nonetheless, the Savages are adamant that they are not out to get money, nor fame off of the situation and have maintained that their daughter, Joycelyn is brainwashed…which she very well could be.

Joycelyn claims that her parents are in fact ‘out to get money and fame’ off of R. Kelly’s name…which is also possible.

Clearly, ILOSM fam,’ there have been many accusations hurled from both sides of the coin, as it pertains to the Savages vs. R. Kelly and Joycelyn. Does that mean R. Kelly should NOT be held accountable if he has in fact committed sex abuse crimes involving underaged girls and women? Hell nah.

However, if R. Kelly’s guilty of the pending accusations, I think everyone else who was involved and/or aided him in allegedly committing the crimes, should be brought to justice as well…or at the very least, be exposed for their participation- be it parents, friends, employees, whomever…just sayin.’
