Kelis Just Scored A Major Victory In Her Nasty Custody Battle With Nas
Kelis can count a small victory in their custody case, because Nas dropped the contempt charges. No further reason was given as to why he did so, but The Blast reports that he has completely dropped the charges:
Kelis will not face contempt charges stemming from her custody battle with Nas after Nas dropped the charges days before a hearing on the matter was scheduled to take place.
According to court documents…an attorney for Nas filed the request for dismissal last week. A hearing on the issue was supposed to take place today (June 20) but it was taken off the calendar.
Kelis can breathe easy for the moment because this is just one victory. Their custody battle is an all out war. And the way they’ve been fighting either proves how much they love their son, or how much they truly despise one another.
