Rumors are circulating that former Destiny Child’s member Kelly Rowland is vying for the role of Donna Summer in the Spike Lee-directed film “Spinning Gold.” The biopic chronicles the life of Casablanca Records founder Neil Bogart, whose talents took him from being a poor kid from Brooklyn, N.Y., to launching the career of Summer, as well as those of Kiss, Joan Jett and the Village People. Pop singer Justin Timberlake will take on the role of Bogart.
