Keshia Knight-Pulliam Reveals Real Reason She’s Been Fired From ‘Celebrity Big Brother’
The first episode of Celebrity Big Brother just aired in the United States on February 8 and, already, it looks like Keshia Knight-Pulliam has left the show. According to the Daily Mail, the former Cosby Show actress was fired from the show after being nominated for eviction from the house. Just days ago, Keshia made headlines after she clashed with former White House aide Omarosa Manigault but apparently, that disagreement had nothing to do with her leaving the show. Now, she’s speaking out about the situation revealing what really led to her being fired.
Settin’ The Record Straight:
For those who missed the second episode of the reality series, Keshia reportedly broke down on camera begging to go home. So what led to her outburst? Well, she During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Keshia Knight-Pulliam opened up about the issues she faced while on the show. She admitted that the time away from her 1-year-old daughter, Ella, was an issue.
The famed actress admitted she ultimately asked to be nominated for eviction as the filming schedule conflicted with her ability to breastfeed. “I was ready to stay and fight but my breast milk supply has kind of been getting a little less. They asked me honestly and I was like, ‘You know, to tell you the truth, since you guys put me up on the block anyway, it’s time for me to go home,” Pulliam told ET’s Brice Sander hours after the live eviction. “It’s time for me to make sure that Ella’s OK, ’cause she is my priority.”
Missing Her Baby:
While most people would probably feel some kind of way about being sent home, Keshia admits that she was actually relieved. For those who missed it, Keisha’s fellow houseguests granted her request unanimously voting for her eviction, something she admitted she greatly appreciated. “I just can’t wait to hold her in my arms all night and she can have as many booby snacks as long and as often as she desires,” Pulliam said, laughing. So although it looks like a setback, Keshia feels like it’s the best thing that could have happened to her right now because motherhood is her main focus right now.
After returning home, Keshia took to Instagram with a post to address the situation. With a photo of her holding her daughter, she offered a detailed explanation.
Thank you all for your support & well wishes!! There is no amount of money ever worth sacrificing her needs. When you become a mother your entire world shifts. Everything I do is for this little girl. I am grateful for the #BigBrother opportunity. However, nothing tops this feeling right here. Tonight I won!! My desire is always to be an example of #BlackGirlMagic because I have my little girl and millions of little girls around the word watching, learning & modeling my actions. This is BIGGER than me. #MommyAndEllaGrace #NormalizeBreastFeeding #FamilyOverEverything
