Keyshia Cole Finally Divorcing Retired NBA Husband After They Openly Date Other People

Keyshia Cole is no stranger to living out her personal life on television, as we saw with her and her fam’ years ago on her past BET reality show, Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is. So it comes as no surprise that the world gets to watch her life on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood now.

In doing so, we’re seeing the very cool relationship that she has with her husband/NBA player, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson. I would refer to their relationship as ‘estranged,’ but seeing how they’ve been “separated,” but living together for the past few years, they weren’t quite estranged at all.

Anywho, it’s just been reported, by The Blast, that Keyshia has finally decided to file those divorce papers as of September 12 (2017), after years of rumors that the two were divorcing. That also comes as no surprise, because folks who watch L&HHH know that Daniel is already kickin’ it with other women and so is Keyshia with other men.

On the show, he and Keyshia even discussed his interest in his “friend,” Brooke Valentine, who is also a singer and cast member on LHHH. Check out the conversation they had about that in the video below:

After seeing that video clip, it was clear to see just how far Daniel and Keyshia have come. A few years ago, she was putting the man on blast for cheating on her. But now they can actually have a civilized convo’ about him trying to get with another chick…WOW, that’s growth.

At any rate, it’s unfortunate that their son won’t have his parents together, but it’s wonderful that Keyshia and Daniel are successfully co-parenting their child and have a great friendship now. Wishing them the best moving forward.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
