Kim Kardashian’s Newest Prison Reform Case Is Causing Major Backlash
Although many have praised Kim for getting involved the Cooper case may be the polarizing factor from this point forward. People have been voicing their opinions of Kim’s involvement with Cooper’s case and their reactions have been mixed.
Kim Kardashian has officially taken it too far by working with Kevin Cooper. He is a terrible person, rapist, and murderer. It’s actually pretty disturbing she’s working with him.

One person who is definitely not here for Cooper’s release is Mary Ann Hughes, the mother of victim Christopher Hughes. In a statement (via TMZ) she claims that Kim doesn’t have all of the facts and is more than likely being used by Cooper because of her celebrity.
Mary Ann Hughes tells TMZ she was disgusted to see Kardashian embracing death row inmate Cooper in photos — “It makes me feel sick to my stomach and I pity her. For what she’s doing to us, there’s nothing to justify what she’s doing to us, the immense pain she is causing us.”
She added, Kim “obviously has not read all of the actual evidence — she has bought into half truths perpetrated by the defense. If she actually sat down and read the transcripts of all the trials and appeals, she would be sick to her stomach to be in the same room with him.”
This may be the undoing of her career in criminal justice or another step in the direction of truly helping people. What are your thoughts? Is Kim making things better or worse with her involvement?
