ILOSM fam’ we’re bringing you an update on La Toya Jackson and the mystery surrounding her health. A few weeks ago, on May 3rd, Joe Jackson’s secret daughter, Joh’Vonnie Jackson (and her daughter, Yasmine Jackson), reported that she was praying for her sister, La Toya, because she’d just suffered a stroke. Now La Toya has spoken out and also popped up on a red carpet for the first time since that report. What she had to say though proves that somebody’s lying but the question is: WHO?

La Toya Speaks Out After Stroke Reports

La Toya Jackson is 61 years young and fabulous, but just like the rest of us, she’s not immune to having a health crisis. That’s why fans were very worried when they’d heard her sister report that she had a stroke.

By May 5th, two days after the stroke revelation, La Toya had received a great outpouring of well wishes from fans online. In return, La Toya posted a ‘thank you’ message for all of them at 10:21 a.m….without denying that she’d had a stroke, which led everyone to assume it was true:

“I wish to thank every last one of you for your THOUGHTFULNESS , your CARING and the LOVE you have expressed. IT IS EXTREMELY APPRECIATED!!! I am well and I thank you so much for your prayers. 🙏 I LOVE YOU ALL! Have a beautiful weekend!😘”

BUT lo and behold, 10 hours later- at 8:47 p.m.- La Toya, posted a new Twitter message to prove that her sister’s stroke report was not even an alternative fact…but that it was not a fact at all:

“Again thank you for your prayers and thoughtfulness, but guys, to make it clear I DID NOT HAVE A STROKE!!!!”

Along with her Twitter denial, came the promotion for her then upcoming appearance on the Food Network’s reality show, “Worst Cooks In America.”:

By the time May 16th rolled around, La Toya shared a photo of herself on the red carpet at The Cannes Film Festival, looking like her normal self and all smiles…

(VIDEO) Joh’Vonnie Jackson Disses La Toya Days After Revealing Stroke

A couple days after Joh’Vonnie and her daughter stated that La Toya suffered a stroke, she hopped back onto Instagram Live to left folks know that her Jackson sis’ was ‘recovering.’ However, things took a sharp turn left when she informed us all that La Toya is a horrible sister to her:

“You know, I just wanted to take a moment and talk about my sister La Toya. … It’s very unfortunate, she’s 62 years old and she had a minor stroke. And I personally want her to know, that even though that you have been the worst sister…to me, I want you to know that I still love you…”

Although Joh’Vonnie didn’t go into detail about why she’s labeling La Toya “the worst” sister, after seeing La Toya’s denial, it’s probably safe to assume it has something to do with Joh’Vonnie’s previous stroke claims. This isn’t the first time Joh’Vonnie and La Toya have shown public shade at each other, so it probably won’t be the last.

As far as La Toya’s mysterious thank-you-then-deny Twitter messages, regarding the stroke reports, again…it simply proves that somebody’s lying. Who do you believe ILOSM family?
