If you don’t follow “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’s” Momma Dee on Instagram, then you probably haven’t heard about her new set of fake teeth. But if you have been on the internet in the past year or so, you may have heard about, or even seen the infamous incident when Momma Dee was trying to get her singing career going and during one of her promo concerts, her teeth dislodged from her mouth. She caught her teeth before they hit the floor, but that didn’t stop that video from hitting the internet and becoming a viral sensation.

In case you missed it, check out Rickey Smiley’s hilarious coverage of the incident and Momma Dee’s poised response here…

Fast forward to today and Momma Dee has taken her teeth fail in stride. She’s even made light of the situation with her recent IG post.

She decided to give Dr. Heavenly (the dentist from the reality show, “Married To Medicine”) a visit and cop some new teeth that will never fall out again. Dee paid a pretty penny for them and proudly showed them off on Instagram with the caption:

“Say something now America!!! No more teeth flying out of this mouth anytime soon thanks to my good friend @dr_heavenly …. I deserved a new smile and I got it’s Let’s stop buying clothes and new cars and start investing in a new smile #InThatOrder #MommaDee”

We’re happy for Momma Dee and proud of the way she handled the online backlash. But as you could imagine, some people weren’t gonna let her slide that easy. In particular, one fan hopped on her IG and attacked her, calling her a charity case, but Dee clapped back with a vengeance:

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
