Laurence Fishburne’s Daughter Pleads ‘No Contest’ In Her DUI Case & Learns Her Fate
Montana Fishburne has led a troubled life. The 26-year-old has struggled with drugs and alcohol and she even appeared in a hardcore porn film in 2010 and worked as a stripper while living in Fort Lauderdale. Her life took an even more unfortunate turn last March after she hit a car and was subsequently arrested for a DUI. She has avoided jail, but the terms of her probation are pretty strict.
Montana was found guilty of property damage stemming from the accident. But on Feb. 9, she entered a plea of no-contest for the DUI and will be on probation for the next 12 months. If Montana is going to successfully complete her probationary period, she will have to comply with a laundry list of rules.
The daughter of famous actor Laurence Fishburne has been ordered to attend Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) meetings, complete a course at DWI school, and go cold turkey on alcohol and all other intoxicants. Montana will be subjected to unannounced breath and urine tests to ensure compliance. Montana’s driver’s license has also been suspended.
The judge on the case has also ordered Montana to perform 50 hours of community service. Her court appearance came on the heels of a stint in rehab. Montana entered treatment at Wavelengths Recovery in Huntington Beach, Ca., back in November.
There have been other brushes with the law before this incident. In 2009, Montana was arrested for prostitution and there was a 2010 arrest for battery and false imprisonment. Fast-forwarding to the March 11 arrest, Montana was taken into custody after rear-ending a Range Rover on I-95 near Fort Lauderdale. That night, police found an open bottle of wine in her Toyota Corolla. Her blood alcohol level was over twice the legal limit at a .18 and she failed her field sobriety test.

The entire 22-minute arrest was captured on police video including Montana urinating on the side of the road. The footage went viral when it was released. Montana said in a prior interview that she hoped her porn tape would make her famous like Kim Kardashian and lead to more mainstream acting roles. But all of her videos have made her infamous. Hopefully this sentence will be a fresh start for the young woman.
