In an earlier TV interview, Leaving Neverland director Dan Reed claimed Safechuck and Robson were not after money.

He told Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid last month: “They want justice, they are not fussed about the money. I don’t know what they would do with the money when they get it.”

Leaving Neverland sees the two former child actors accuse the late singer of molesting them at his Californian ranch in the 1990s.

Safechuck, 41, met Jackson in 1986 on the set of a Pepsi advert. He claims he was abused for a number of years, showering him with gifts and grooming his family.
