Cry Out For Help

Tommie Lee might actually mean it this time when she admits she needs help for serious mental issues.  According to reports, her legal team is already trying to enroll her in a mental health program. Legal documents show that the former ‘Love & Hip Hop’ star is petitioning the court in her child abuse case to allow Tommie to get treatment for a serious mental illness.

Previous Charges

If you recall back in October Lee was indicted in Georgia for child abuse. Tommie Lee showed up at her daughter’s middle school and allegedly disrupted the class. Documents state that she slapped her daughter on the hands with her purse strap and slapped her across the face. Dragged her down the hall by her hair and threw her into a metal locker. Tommie is currently facing 7 charges in the indictment, with 3 of them being felonies. The rest are misdemeanors. If she’s convicted on all counts she could face up to 54 years.

Lee claims she was diagnosed before or around the same time as she was charged with child abuse, and her condition is a significant part of her case.
