Lil Kim Reunites Junior Mafia for “Biggie Day” and Finally Receives Much Needed Apology on Video

Posted On : May 22, 2019

Last night in celebration of what would have big Notorious B.I.G. 47th birthday Biggie Smalls’ close friends put together the first annual B.I.G. Family Dinner.

The former Junior M.A.F.I.A. members reunited Tuesday night in NYC, where a huge party was thrown at TAO Downtown in his honor. This appears to be the first time Lil Cease and Lil Kim have have been seen interacting publicly since their falling out in 2005 according to TMZ.

To jog your memory,  Cease testified against Kim during her federal perjury trial — which helped prosecutors case against her when she was found to have lied to a grand jury about a shooting she’d witnessed. Kim spent a year in prison for it.

Well, the former foes have buried their past issues and reunited in honor of late mentor B.I.G. both of whom were incredibly close to Biggie when he was alive and have recorded a number of songs together … including their ’96 hit, “Crush on You.”

Longtime Biggie Smalls friend/collaborator DJ Mister Cee went to Instagram this week to share an epic shot of Kim/Cease together.

Captioned: “YALL GOTTA UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS PIC MEANS 2DAY!!!!”

In 2011, Kim said past internal issues likely would prevent her from ever talking to Cease again.

“At this point I would say never,” Kim declared. “Only God directs my life so I can’t say if I would ever speak to him in the future. But at this point, no. I have not seen a single change and then I’ve seen a bunch of talk and a bunch of contradictions, so no.” (RapFix)

Kim and Cease were seen hanging out together with a bunch of their famous pals, like Busta Rhymes, Cedric the Entertainer, Jadakiss and other hip-hop heads too.

With music provided by DJ Reach, Stacks and DJ Shortkutz … the shindig looked like a classic family throwdown

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
