LL Cool J. Desperately Trying To Reach Maia Campbell After Drug Video Surfaces

Posted On : July 10, 2017

Yesterday, disturbing footage of Maia Campbell surfaced online. Months ago, it seemed the former In The House TV star was well on her way to a full recovery, but the latest video shows that she seems to have relapsed again, or is having some other type of horrific crisis in her life. Fans and celebrities everywhere have shared their reaction to the disheartening video and now her former In The House co-star, LL Cool J., is also reaching out to her.

LL’s Plea:

LL Cool J’s recent Instagram comment about Maia’s video didn’t go unnoticed by many. The G.O.A.T. rapper asked fans to help him find Maia: “If someone has contact on Maia, please let me know,” LL wrote. Baller Alert shared his comment…

LL also took to Twitter with a statement directed toward everyone who opts to film incidents like the footage circulating. He tweeted, “Instead of pulling out your phone and filming someone who’s obviously having trouble. Maybe lend a helping hand? A kind word? @MaiaCampbell.”

Apparently, someone was able to give LL the information he was looking for, because he took to Instagram with another post shortly. The subliminal post simply said, “Thank You.” It is unclear what his plan is for Maia, but hopefully, he’s successful with his attempt to intervene. Many fans expressed concern for Maia and blasted the guy who filmed the video and exploited her.

Years Of History:

LL Cool J’s request follows Maia’s many years of battling with addiction, bipolar disorder depression, and grief over the loss of her mother, Bebe Moore Campbell. The latest video captured her standing outside of a Stone Mountain, GA gas station asking for crack cocaine.

The 40 year old actress once known for her immense beauty, now has missing teeth and fans were completely saddened by what they saw. We sincerely hope Maia gets the help she so rightfully needs and deserves. We will continue to keep her in our thoughts and prayers and send a whole lotta loving energy her way.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
