The Navy’s Demands Have Finally Been Heard
Rihanna has been grinding, from her Fenty makeup line to clothing line. She apparently been working on some new music too! The beauty mogul has finally spilled some tea about her upcoming album!
As we all know by now RiRi is from Barbados so naturally she often taps into her Caribbean culture through music. It has created some of the most dope vibes on her tracks. She now confirms that her latest project will not disappoint. The combined new music will be combined into reggae album. However this album will not include one of her favorite or ex-favorite features….Drake.
Drake and Rihanna have collaborated numerous time creating top of the charts music. Some of their number one hits include “What’s My Name?”, “Take Care” and “Work.” When asked about working with him again, she flat out said nah .
“Not anytime soon, I don’t see it happening,” she said. “Not on this album, that’s for sure.”
The Pon De Replay artist even hinted about the name of the album. She said that her Navy which is the name of her fan group, has already pressured her into a title.
“So far it’s just been R9, thanks to the Navy,” she said. “I’m about to call it that probably because they have haunted me with this. How will I accept another name after that’s been burned into my skull?”
Although we know there is music coming, RiRi has not confirmed a release date for her album. At Least we know it is coming!
