Manager Of R.Kelly Wanted By Cops For Incident With Dad Of Kelly’s Young Girlfriend
R. Kelly’s making headlines again and this time it indirectly has something to do with him. Well, on second thought, that depends on who you ask, because pretty sure if we asked the father of his young girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage, her dad would say this latest news has everything to do with Kellz. Technically speaking though, this is about the manager of R. Kelly this go’ round…and the cops.
Why Cops Are Seeking R. Kelly’s Manager
Many of y’all have heard about R. Kelly’s 23 year old girlfriend, Joycelyn, and her accusatory parents, who have repeatedly bashed Kelly in the media over his relationship with their daughter. Fast forward to today and police officers are on the hunt for R. Kelly’s manager, James Mason, over alleged life threatening claims against Timothy:
Via TMZ: Cops in Henry County tell us they have an arrest warrant for James Mason … who Timothy Savage claims leveled a very specific death threat against him. Timothy’s made headlines for claiming Kelly has made his daughter, Joycelyn Savage, one of his sex slaves.
Papa Savage went to cops back in May, claiming James called him and said, “I’m gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I’m gonna get you, I’m going to f****** kill you.” We’re told cops want to haul Mason in for terroristic threats and acts.
This comes after Timothy Savage’s repeated attempts to take down R. Kelly, over claims that the “Seems Like You’re Ready” hitmaker kidnapped Joycelyn. He also recently released this “herpes” filled message to R. Kelly:

Timothy’s and his wife’s media crusade has sparked the current wave of sex-cult claims and backlash Kelly has been receiving lately. The only issue many had with the Savage parents’ claims, were the details they’d originally excluded from their public statements against Kelly. It wasn’t until their daughter, Joycelyn, began speaking out, that the world became privy to them.
Jocelyn revealed in interviews, that she was not being held hostage by R. Kelly. She also stated that she wanted to be there and that it was actually her father, Timothy, who sent her to live with Kelly, after her mother introduced her to Kelly backstage at his concert. Following Joycelyn’s revelation, her parents fell outta the public eye for a hot second. However, after working behind the scenes to devise a new plan of attack against R. Kelly, they recharged and were ready for legal war.
In August 2017, Mr. and Mrs. Savage found an attorney to take on their case to fight to forcibly get their adult daughter to return home.
R. Kelly also claimed that Timothy fabricated stories and demanded money from him after Kelly didn’t help several of Timothy’s family members with their singing careers. He also said Joycelyn’s mother, Jonjelyn is bitter because Kelly didn’t use dresses she’d made for his backup dancers, when she was trying to get her clothing boutique off the ground.
Apparently Mr. and Mrs. Savage haven’t been successful in their efforts against R. Kelly. They’re daughter’s a grown woman, so that’ll be a tough battle for them to try to win. That hasn’t stopped them from trying though, just weeks ago, they were on “Sister Circle” with Kelly’s ex-wife, Drea Kelly, claiming Joycelyn is still in danger with Kelly.
For the record, Kelly did recently admit he likes his women young (and older) in his “I Admit It” song, without specifying HOW young. Given the fact that his ‘tender-roni,’ Joycelyn, has just reached the age where she can buy an alcoholic beverage in a club, at least tells us he likes his women almost 30 years younger than he. As long as R. Kelly remains within the legal age limit though, he should be okay…legally.
FYI: Not sure if the latest claims against Kelly’s manager, Jason Mason, are part of a bigger plan for the Savages in their take-down-R-Kelly mission, but only time will tell.
