Marlon Wayans Praises Tyrese’s Wife After Her ‘John Singleton Tribute’ Deeply Touches Tyrese
Singer and actor, Tyrese Gibson, may have once caught a lotta flack for calling his biracial wife a “Black queen” during a clap-back to a few African American female fans, but today she’s won the hearts of many, with what she’s just gifted her husband with. Not only are fans saluting her thoughtful efforts, so is comedian/actor, Marlon Wayans.
What Marlon Wayans Said About Tyrese’s Wife…
“You got a beautiful wonderful thoughtful queen 👑,” is the comment Marlon Wayans left on Instagram for Tyrese, after peepin’ the video post Samantha shared online for her man.
“I was told not to go downstairs … I have no words.”
In the video surprise to Tyrese, Samantha debuted the John Singleton suite she’d created inside of their Atlanta home, in honor of Tyrese’s late friend and director.
“Hey papi, I wanted to surprise you,” Samantha said. She then explained that she decided “to dedicate this suite to John because this is the suite he always stayed in when he came to Atlanta…this is where he always was- his layer.”
Samantha proceeded to scan the room, which displayed several framed photos of John with Tyrese, as well as framed movie posters of John’s work. She concluded the video by telling Tyrese, “I hope you love it, been working hard on it…just wanted to surprise you.”

This is another reminder that it’s not about the monetary value of one’s act of kindness to a loved one, it’s about the thought behind the act that no amount of money can buy. That is what Samantha has just done for her man, Tyrese.
