Marsha Ambrosius will soon be singing lullabies. On the final night of the 2016 ESSENCE Festival, the songstress took to the stage as part of the highly-anticipated Prince tribute and she seemed to be dropping a few hints of an important delivery on the way.

According to Essence, after hitting the stage to sing “Take Me a With You,” she segued into singing the late legend’s classic “Do Me Baby.” However, during her rendition, she made it a point to rub her noticeably rounder belly several times, especially each time she sang “baby.” The singer later confirmed the news to ESSENCE, adding that she would soon be welcoming a baby girl.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
