Meet Thaddeus, he’s the only child of the late Joni Sledge and he seemed to be very close to his beloved mother.

Not too much is known about Thaddeus and we’re not sure about who his father is. But we do have a few facts we’d like to share about him, that’ll help Joni’s fans gain a clearer picture of the one person she loved more than life itself and gain insight into the person she raised. Facts About Joni Sledge’s Son

• Thaddeus also seemed pretty close to his aunts, Sister Sledge. In fact, Sister Sledge announced on social media (in December of 2016), that Thaddeus was now singing backup for them sometimes and that he did an incredible job doing so.

• He lists one of his two careers as being employed under the family’s business, Sister Sledge Entertainment, LLC
• Thaddeus is also listed as an independently contracted electrician by trade in Arizona.
• Thaddeus also has a tight-knit relationship with his Sledge cousins.

Joni was not a grandmother at the time of her death, but if Thaddeus ever decides to have children, he’ll have a remarkable story to tell them about the phenomenal, gifted woman their soulful Grandmother was and how much she touched millions across the world.

We’re pretty sure Joni Sledge was tremendously proud of her son and the man he has become. As Thaddeus grieves the loss of his mother, we would like to send him some uplifting energy and condolences at this time.

Ever since Sister Sledge members- Debbie, Kim and Kathy- announced the Friday (3-11-17) passing of their sister on Saturday (3-11-17), there have been no further details given regarding her cause of death, nor her funeral arrangements.
