Michelle Williams Gives Update From Mental Facility, Destiny’s Child Shows Her Birthday Love

Destiny’s Child singer, Michelle Williams, turned 38 years old on Monday, July 23rd. She presumably spent her b-day inside of the mental health facility, where she’s been receiving treatment for about the past week or so. As she continues to heal herself from extreme depression and any other mental health issue plaguing her at this time, her group members didn’t forget about her birthday.

On Monday, Kelly Rowland posted a cool birthday message for Michelle. She even included a lil’ dancing with it:

“Happy Birthday to my sista @RealMichelleW – love you ‘Chelle.”

Michelle in turn, thanked everyone for the b-day love:

“Thank you!! #BirthdayLove ❤️”

Although Beyonce’ has yet to post anything about Michelle’s latest mental health revelation, nor her birthday, the official Destiny’s Child Twitter page spoke on behalf of the group. In a loving Twitter post, DC gave her this shout out:

“Happy birthday to Michelle Williams! 🖤”

Michelle Gives Update On Her Mental Health Treatment

On Sunday, Michelle Williams took to social media to let her fans know that everything is all good with her mental health treatment thus far:

“I feel the [love]! I just wanted to let you guys know I’m better,” she wrote on Instagram, along with a pair of ‘praying hands’ emoji. Then Michelle eventually shared the same message on Twitter, adding that “Progress not Perfection! ❤️.”

In case y’all missed the latest news about Michelle Williams, we reported that she bravely checked herself into a mental health facility, located just outside of Los Angeles, CA on last week. She’d previously revealed that she’s battled severe depression since her teen years. She then gave an honest message, about her mental health check-in, to her fans:

Williams: “For years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognize when it’s time to seek help, support and guidance from those that love and care for your well being.” She continued, “I recently listened to the same advice I have given to thousands around the world and sought help from a great team of healthcare professionals. Today I proudly, happily and healthily stand here as someone who will continue to always lead by example as I tirelessly advocate for betterment of those in need.”

Following her reveal, Michelle received an outpouring of support from fans and celebs, alike, including Missy Elliott, Tina Knowles-Lawson, fiancee Chad Johnson, and original Destiny’s Child member, LaTavia Roberson.
