Michael Jackson’s 18 year old son, Prince a.k.a. Michael Jackson Jr. graduated from Buckley High School (in Sherman Oaks, CA) on Saturday and a whole lot of Jackson’s showed up. Buckley is the same school his father and all of the Jackson siblings attended back in the day. The school has a reputation of being one of the most exclusive high schools in the U.S., but the icing on the cake for us was the Old School house party, or backyard get-together that Prince’s Grandpa Joe Jackson threw for him at his house in Encino, Cali.

You can always rely on Papa Joe to keep it old school and keep it real. With all of the money the Jackson’s have, you would think that there would have been a million dollar celebration for Prince thrown in one of the most extravagant mansions or hotels in Cali, NY, or even Dubai, with a $500K Rolls Royce or a $300K Ferrari outside waiting for him, but NOPE! Joe Jackson and his family kept Prince’s celebration grounded and down to the basics: filled with some good food (but nothing too fancy), their small circle of close relatives and family (only about 35 of them…mostly his aunts, uncles, and cousins), and a whole lot of love and it looks like Prince loved it. That’s what it’s all about!

Prince’s Uncle Jackie and Grandpa Joe made speeches about Prince graduating with honors in the class of 2015; and Prince also made a speech of appreciation too. Check out the photos below…
