Ever since Empire star, Jussie Smollett, stirred up the internet with his claims of being brutally beaten in a racial/homophobic attack by two White dudes who turned out to be two Nigerian brothas, his co-star, Bryshere Gray a.k.a. “Hakeem Lyon,” has remained radio silent on the topic. At that time, Andria re-shared Jussie’s performance video online in early February and captioned it with a supportive message:

“THE END! thank you Lord! Swipe left to see his statement! Please excuse the cursing.”
