It’s just been reported by The Blast, that Shantel Jackson’s secret recordings consist of several confidential phone calls and “face-to-face” encounters in which Mayweather was reportedly unaware he was being recorded. See the rest of the details below:

Via TB- [Mayweather] states, “Jackson intentionally used one or more recording devices to surreptitiously record conversations with Mayweather including telephonic conversations and conversations in the presence of one another without Mayweather’s knowledge or consent. … At least some of Jackson’s surreptitious tapings were recorded while Mayweather and Jackson were engaged to be married but Jackson, unbeknownst to Mayweather, was attempting to construct a lawsuit against Mayweather should she decide she preferred its potential to a potential marriage.”

He claims that at various times, currently unknown to him, Jackson “tape-recorded their face-to-face communications under objectively confidential circumstances.”

Now, Mayweather wants Jackson to pay an unspecified damages, as well as $5,000 per each time she reportedly recorded him. He’s also seeking punitive damages.

Whew! Not sure if Shantel’s got that kinda money, but her man, Nelly does. Fortunately for Nelly, he and Shantel are just happily dating, but not married. Otherwise, this fiasco between his lady and her ex could have have possibly put a dent in his bank account…that is, IF Shantel actually loses her legal battle.
