Apparently, they’re looking to go the extra mile so fans can have a real look at the situation.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Real Housewives of Atlanta producers are reportedly scrambling to finalize the upcoming season, but they aren’t looking to close out without that infamous clip of NeNe slamming the Oakland heckler. For those who missed NeNe’s clap-back, she allegedly told the person, “I hope your Uber driver rapes your a*s tonight, b***h.” An insider has revealed details about producers’ plans to acquire permission to air the clip.
The publication reports, “Sources tell us that RHOA producers are scrambling to try and get licensing permission to air it on the upcoming season of the show. ‘They want to add it as part of her storyline this season. NeNe doesn’t want it on the show.'”

The latest news follows the overwhelming backlash NeNe has faced for the harsh comments. With so much controversy surrounding rape culture, NeNe was quickly forced to retract her statements and issue a statement of apology. Shortly after being criticized by people all over the country, the reality star took to Instagram to address the situation.
But despite the apology, the damage had already been done. To make matters worse, NeNe was also dropped from the Xscape reunion tour. “Since being removed as host of the Xscape reunion tour, NeNe has taken full responsibility even though she’s had a lil’ bit of an emotional breakdown. There are questions swirling around her about her future on RHOA and even she knows nothing is guaranteed. She is having the worst month ever and if she loses one more job, she will be crushed,” a source said. Most fans love NeNe because she’s known for speaking her mind, but this time she took things a bit too far.
