NeNe Leakes Shares Emotional News About Husband, Gregg’s, Cancer In Touching Video
Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Nene Leakes (51), made a very special announcement on Wednesday (April 3, 2019). She and her husband, Gregg Leakes (63), have every reason in the world to be celebrating at this time.
Just months after watching Gregg say that he refused to undergo chemotherapy for his stage 3 colon cancer, Nene has now revealed that he successfully completed 6 months of chemo. She took to social media to celebrate Gregg’s journey in two posts.
In one post, she shared a touching video of Gregg holding a gong, which he rang to mark the end of his chemo chapter. It was a beautiful sigh to see, as the medical staff and nurses surrounded him and cheered him on.
The second video, showed Gregg tearing up as he embraced each of the medical staff, stating “Y’all gon’ make me cry.”
Nene’s third post captured Gregg smiling from ear to ear, as he held the gong high above his head.
In her posts, the RHOA star wrote a lengthy, emotional caption that truly summed up what the Leakes fam’ has gone through for the duration of Gregg’s cancer battle.
“This all started May 5th 2018…It’s been a long emotional ride for our entire family!” Nene started off with. “Listen up American…..TODAY my husband @greggleakes has completed 6 months of chemotherapy!…”
