A Grandmother’s Pain: Nipsey Hussle’s Beloved Granny Speaks Out In New Interview

While America and the world is mourning the death of Nipsey Hussle, his grandmother is trying to find sunshine in the storm. “I hope these young people will get the message,” she mentions in a new interview.

According to CBS – Los Angeles, 88-year-old Margaret Boutte spoke with the source concerning her grandson, Ermias “Nip” Asghedom. While she’s also mourning his loss, Nipsey’s grandmother is finding peace in the worldwide support their family is receiving.

I never knew there was so much love like I love him,” Boutte tells the source. “So that’s uplifting that so many people loved and understood him.

The source reports that Nipsey Hussle was raised by his mother and grandma. “She was real big on keeping a tight family and big on love,” the rapper said about Margaret Boutte before his death.

But furthermore, through all the love and support, the 88-year-old hopes that masses understand the message Hussle was trying to relay before his death. “Live a better life,” Nipsey’s granny emphasizes. “Live a better life.
