Posted On : January 11, 2018

Since Oprah Winfrey captivated millions of Americans with her speech at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards, she raised all kinds of speculation about the possibility of her running for president in 2020. While most people see Oprah as a possible candidate with serious potential to take the Oval, of course, she still has a few haters. Apparently, Stacey Dash is one of those haters. As a true Trump supporter and sell-out in many regards, Ms.Dash tried to come for Oprah and dim her light, but fans weren’t tryna hear that. The latest drama started with a Twitter post in which Stacey attempted to defame Oprah. It didn’t take long for fans to start dragging her in Oprah’s defense.

Skeletons In The Closet?:

On Wednesday, January 10, Stacey Dash took to Twitter with a link to a fake news article titled, Oprah Under the Microscope: 12 Skeletons She Can No Longer Hide In Her Closet, that included a photo of the billionaire businesswoman. She also included a caption that read, “This cannot be dismissed. Oprah must be forced to answer to these if she’s going to ask for our vote…”

Dragged To Hell:

It definitely didn’t take long for fans to come to Oprah’s defense. The Clueless star was dragged all over Twitter. Surprisingly, although she posted the link to her 500,000 followers, the vast majority of those who responded to the post did so in support of Oprah. Needless to say, the comments were brutal. There may be a bit of time until 2020 if Oprah decides to run, but her fans are already makin’ it clear: You just don’t come for Oprah.

If Oprah Winfrey does decide to run for president in 2020, it would definitely be an interesting election. But right now, Oprah has yet to personally respond to the rumors.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
