Ever since he was convicted in December of 2008 for a 2007 kidnapping and armed robbery, he’s been trying to get outta the Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada. In case y’all need a lil refresher of what exactly went down to land O.J. in jail, here it is: O.J. got sentenced to 33 years in 2008 for stealing his own stuff back by allegedly holding up the dudes -who had his sports memorabilia- at gun point in a Las Vegas hotel. His three co-defendants – who were also allegedly a part of the armed robbery- all ratted O.J. out reportedly. However, O.J. said he was not on the scene of the robbery.

Mixed Reactions To O.J.’s Parole Possibility

After his sentencing, many people were shocked that the judge gave him a whopping 33 years for a crime like that. While many other people were like ‘Well that’s what he gets for getting off after killing his wife, Nicole.’

Regardless of what side of the fence you’re on regarding O.J. and all of his alleged crimes, he’s sitting in his cell right about now with a lotta hope in his heart regarding his freedom. Another thing to note is that O.J. has had a record of good behavior ever since he’s been locked up, so the chances of him getting released on parole come October 2017, is even more possible. So there ya’ have it family, O.J. may soon be a free man at the tender age of 69.
