Ever since former President Obama and First Lady, Michelle Obama, stepped down from their 8-year stint in the White House, they’ve been getting some much needed and well deserved rest, relaxation, and recuperation.

After leaving office in January 2017, they’ve only been spotted in the U.S. a handful of times- once in New York City, around the time of the announcement of their $65+ million book deals with Penguin Random House; once when they moved into their new Washington D.C. home; another time was during their trip to Barack’s home state of Hawaii; and their other known trip was to Palm Springs, FL.

If they’ve been back to the U.S. since then, they must have done it on the down low because the public sure missed it.

Other than the aforementioned brief U.S. visits, they’ve mostly been chillin’ on resorts and faraway islands as Pres. Obama continues to work on his memoir. He’s reportedly been staying at the $7,000 per night Brando luxury eco-resort, which is located in French Polynesia. Aside from that resort location, the Obama’s and their secret service agents have been touring several other hot spots along the South Pacific Ocean, including the Vanilla Island and Bora Bora.

Details Of Their Star Studded Easter Weekend Vacation

Their Easter weekend trip seems to be off the chain as well. It’s been reported that Pres. Obama has taken a brief break from writing his upcoming memoir to spend some quality time this weekend on his friend/billionaire film and music mogul, David Geffen’s 454-foot super yacht.

Along with him is of course, Mrs. Obama and a few of their super-celeb friends- Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey, Bruce Springsteen, and their spouses.

Michelle Obama had her fly, relaxed look on point, while her hubby, Barack snapped some pics of her posing it up on the super yacht…

They had a good time apparently and the only thing cooler than hearing about of so many highly influential celeb friends underneath one yacht roof, would have been being a fly on the wall to actually eavesdrop on those conversations. There was probably come very insightful and thought provoking food for thought being exchanged on that boat.

By the way, if you’re wondering where Sasha (15) and Malia (18) have been throughout this process- Malia is currently docking in New York City for her film production internship with Weinstein Company and she’ll be starting her freshman year at Harvard University in the fall. Sasha is still attending school in Washington, D.C..
