How Mary Feels About Paying For Kendu’s Kids AND Him
Angie then asked Mary J. about the $130K list of demands Kendu wants in spousal support for himself and his kids (Watch her full interview at bottom of this page):
Mary J: “Yeah I saw the list too. […] The list that comes through is the list that comes from the lawyers. I saw this list, I’m like I can’t BELIEVE it…I’m not responsible for them (Kendu’s kids). I don’t have any children with you and I’m not responsible for anything else with you anymore.”
Angie: Sixteen years with a man, what gets you to the point to where you’re like…that’s it, you’re pulling the plug?
Mary: “The overwhelming disrespect and I know I can sense that I’m not what you want anymore. Because now you start throwing questions around like ‘Why you don’t cook?’ I haven’t been cooking. ‘Well, why you don’t where your hair like this?’ I have never worn my hair like that before, what’s up wit’ you?!!”
Mary J. Gets Real About The Cheating Rumors During Her Marriage
Mary J. also confirmed that those rumors we’d heard about Kendu cheating on her were true and admitted that she did some investigating:
Mary J: “He’s just gone all the time and you’re in a relationship by yourself. When you realize you’re by yourself in the relationship and just suffering through it, now it’s time to do some investigating.”
Angie: Oh that’s what you did?
Mary: “A little bit and I was getting things here and there, but I didn’t have no full proof. It just showed up, it just was revealed, BAM! This is what he’s doing and I even gave him a warning…”
Angie: But did you know before…even in your heart? Because I feel like we always know but…
Mary: “Of course, you know but you can’t prove it…he’s telling you all these lies, but you can’t prove it.”
Her Autobiographical Book Is On The Way
Mary also revealed that she’s writing a book about her life and the troubling times and heartbreaks like the one she’s experiencing with her divorce. Mary said that as women, “we go through all this hell…just to sit in the house and be by ourselves in it? No, you gotta talk to somebody…help somebody…write a book…do something. It’s not to just die in it.”
Mary J. Blige Announced Great News For Her Day One Fans
Then she dropped good news…well, great news for us, Mary J. Blige fans, who (somewhat selfishly…sorry Mary) appreciate when Mary’s going through something in her life, because that’s when we get the best classic joints from her, like the entire My Life album, or “Not Gon Cry” from the Waiting To Exhale soundtrack. Mary revealed that she is going to drop a new album in the midst of what she calls her “healing” process because she’s got some things to get off of her chest:
Mary J.: “I’m good, I’m happy (about the album) you know. Unfortunately in the situation, my fans will be happy- they’re gone’ be happy anyway- but…it’s healing time and a lot of us need to get through some stuff that we don’t wanna tell, but I’mma tell.”
As we all now, there are two sides to every story. So to be fair, we wanna point out that we haven’t heard Kendu’s side yet. Message to Kendu Isaacs: You might wanna jump in here and weigh in on this situation, because theses social media ‘streets’ are talking and so far, it’s not looking too great for ya’ bruh.
