‘One On One’ Creator Eunetta T. Boone Dies Age 63 – Flex Alexander Pays Tribute

Acclaimed writer/producer Eunetta Boone and creator of the UPN comedy One on One has sadly died. She was 63. According to Deadline, Boone was found dead in her Los Angeles home of an apparent heart attack on Wednesday.

“I Am Devastated”

 


One on One starred actor Flex Alexander, who played a single sportscaster who becomes a full-time dad after his ex-wife accepts a job out of the country. Alexander paid tribute to his one time boss on Instagram.

He wrote: “This has just devastated and crushed my heart, Rest eternally Well Eunetta,” the 48-year-old wrote.”I thank you so much for all of the great years and memories on One On One! You were an awesome show runner/EP.”

Alexander admitted that they did not always agree on things, but always found “common ground.”

“I’m thankful we got to re connect and every time we saw each other we gave the biggest hug and always told each other “I love you” there are so many you gave an opportunity to, and I’m thankful we got to share an amazing journey, i will never forget it or you! OneonOneForever#EunettaTBoone.”

“A Masterful Storyteller”

Boone had most recently worked as showrunner on the third season of the Disney Channel series Raven’s Home starring Raven-Symone.

“Eunetta was a pioneer and an inspiration to everyone she met,” Raven-Symone said. “She was a masterful storyteller, an empathetic leader and a beacon of light to so many. I’m sending love and my deepest sympathies to Eunetta’s family and friends and all who knew and loved her.”
