building getting his party on Friday night…in a young adolescent type of way of course. Y’all know Grandma Katherine doesn’t play no games! Those kids still live under her roof in Calabasas, CA. and they still follow her rules…along with the rules of their co-guardian and cousin, TJ. From the looks of it, all three kids, Paris, Blanket and Prince seem to be very grounded young people. We’re sure they’re Dad would be proud.

Their cousins’ reality show, The Jacksons: The Next Generation premiered on October 2nd on the Lifetime channel and so far, so good. They didn’t just tease the fans with references to MJ and his kids, they actually had Prince Jackson in the very first episode. We also learned in the first episode that TJ is all about “big butts,” LOL and that he teared up while confiding to his wife that Prince was the only one in the family who remembered that they were going to go get the hearing test results of their son that day. TJ was also touched when Prince made it a point to give him a big hug and tell him that he loved him for a motivational boost just before TJ left to get the results on their child. That was a beautiful moment and as it stands now, The Jacksons: The Next Generation seems like an interesting show that I’ll watch again next week and hopefully it continues to live up to it’s hype.

On a side note, I couldn’t help but thinking about how those puppy love pics of Paris and her boyfriend remind me of the Jackson 5’s old school slow jam, “All I Do Is Think Of You” because they’re in that teenage love phase and all they seem to be doing is thinking about each other. Speaking of which, let’s reminisce to this classic Jackson 5 slow jam, shall we?
