The last we heard, Peter was doing well out in North Carolina livin’ his best life. Well that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.
According to reports, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star was arrested on an out of state warrant. Authorities say the ex-husband of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey spent the night in a Miami jail after being arrested on fraud charges.
Peter Thomas was arrested Friday at Miami International Airport on a fugitive warrant.
Miami-Dade police told news outlets the warrant for Thomas, 58, is from Louisiana, where he is accused of writing fraudulent checks.
No bond has been set.
The Split
On of our favorite Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia Thomas and Thomas Bailey, 52, called it quits in 2016 after tying the knot on an episode of the Bravo franchise in 2011. The former couple’s divorce was finalized in 2017.
Bailey and Thomas have had a peaceful split and have remained close friends. Fans of the show even thought there was a chance the couple would reconcile as they took a trip to Hawaii together.
However, Bailey insisted “that ship has sailed.”
“I know it seemed like we just decided to go to Hawaii together, but I was invited by Kandi and he was invited by Todd. We had an amazing time together,” Bailey previously told People Magazine of the 2017 trip.
“It was a little awkward at first but we were still technically married in Hawaii,” she said. “So that got a little confusing. If I wanted to take one last lap around the pool, it’s not like it would be that big of a deal because we were technically still married. But I didn’t want to confuse the issues at that point. Had I been I asked, I would have graciously declined to keep things uncomplicated.”
Cynthia Bailey also revealed the two were still in a “great place.”

On Thursday, Thomas shared an Instagram video of himself in Jamaica, writing, “Making deal with my people, BIG THINGS COMING.”
There is no official comment from Thomas or Bravo on this.
