Prince’s Page HACKED, Deactivated. He’s Hiding Something Or Is Hiding…

Posted On : April 22, 2015

Prince SmirkWhile we love us some Prince, we cannot ignore his absence on social media. So is he hiding? It is his right to be private, but Prince was one of the first artists to take the leap into music “independency” by releasing his music independently back in the 90’s, so it’s now baffling to many that he doesn’t embrace social media. Many celebrities are taking full advantage of having a direct relationship with fans, from Nicki Minaj (whether you like her or not, she works the mess out of her social media pages), to Tyrese, to even President Obama whom was engaging with folks on his social media pages just recently. Is this a matter of Prince not respecting social media, which in turn could mean that he doesn’t respect the people? Maybe, maybe not.

Social media is media by and for the people, and so the lack of his engagement with his fans, sharing with his fans, and having a direct relationship with his fans makes many people wonder if this is Prince’s continuation of creating that elusive vibe that has made him so mysterious and intriguing to us throughout the decades. Maybe, maybe not.

Check out his page hacks and let us know what you think…is Prince HIDING SOMETHING, HIDING FROM HIS FANS, or just BEING THE SAME MYSTERIOUS PRINCE HE’S ALWAYS BEEN?prince-screenshot-hacked4

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
