Atty. Agu (pictured in above photo, far R) recent conviction stems from the laws she reportedly broke in 2016, when she allegedly agreed to help her client hide proceeds from the short sales of four properties the client owned:

Via DailyMail- In once instance, [Lydia] Hills, her client and the buyer of one of the properties met at the closing, at which time the buyer gave Hills a bag containing $33,100 in cash – $25,000 for the property and $8,100 for Hills broker fee.

FBI agents recorded this transaction, as well as Agu saying: ‘I’m afraid. I’m an attorney… I don’t want her to say something… The wrong thing on the phone one day and it’s being recorded and I’m screwed.’
