We reported last week, that Lisa Van Allen, an alleged underaged girlfriend of R. Kelly, dropped a bombshell accusation, claiming that Kelly told her he slept with his Aaliyah’s mother, Diane Haughton.

“He did get a little more in-depth … more details when [Aaliyah’s] mother found out,” she says. “And he actually stayed at their home in Detroit and her mother actually was sexually attracted to him as well and he said when Aaliyah went to sleep, he would go in the living room and him and her would do sexual acts on the couch while Aaliyah was sleep in the bedroom.”

R. Kelly Responds – ‘Stop Smearing My Name’

Sources close to R. Kelly say he absolutely denies he and Diane had anything but a friendly relationship. We’re told Kelly believes the only reason Van Allen made those claims in the Vlad TV interview is to further smear his name and grab headlines for herself.

R. Kelly will be back in court March 22.

The Only Time Aaliyah’s Mom Broke Her Silence

Aaliyah’s mother has yet to comment on the allegations surrounding her and R. Kelly.

The notoriously private woman has never given any video interviews about her daughter since her death. But when Lifetime’s three-part documentary Surviving R. Kelly premiered on Jan. 3, Diane Haughton, released a statement.

She broke her silence in response to claims from R. Kelly’s former backup singer Jovante Cunningham. She alleges she saw Aaliyah and R. Kelly engaging in “things that an adult should not be doing with a child.” Haugton angrily denied the claims in a statement.

“The woman and so-called back up singer in the forthcoming “Surviving…” documentary that describes seeing, meeting or ever breathing the same air as my daughter, Aaliyah, is lying and is a liar,” Haughton said. “My husband and I were always on tour with her and at interviews wand every place she went throughout her entire career. Whoever this woman is, I have never seen her before anywhere on planet earth, until now.”
