Though the 3 kids Kelly shares with Drea are great, Kelly’s ability to stay on top of his child support duties is not.
It was just in February 2019, that Drea Kelly cooperated with authorities to have R. Kelly arrested on felony child support charges, for which he was ultimately locked up in March. At that time, he paid the $161,633 in back child support to Drea and was ultimately released. His child support arrest came shortly after he’d posted a $1 million bond to bail outta jail for the 10 felony sex abuse charges, where he’s accused of having sex with an underage girl.
NOW, he’s back in the same situation. R. Kelly has missed two months worth of child support payments that called for him to pay $20,833 per month to Drea. If he does not pay the money soon, he will be headed right back to Cook County’s jail until he does. Meanwhile, he says he’s broke and has asked the judge to reduce hi monthly payments…
