R. Kelly’s Ex-Wife, Drea Kelly Telling it all on ‘Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta
Though Drea is no stranger to reality television (she was a cast member on VH1’s Hollywood Exes which ran for three seasons) this will be the first time she’s appeared on a show since Surviving R. Kelly aired earlier this year. Essence reports that Drea, as well as she and R. Kelly’s children, will be the newest cast members of We Tv’s Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta. And she wants everyone to know that even though her former husband tried to break her spirit, she’s still standing.
“As soon as I get a level of normalcy, [there is] some headline,” the former dancer says in a trailer released Wednesday as her ex-husband’s mugshot from his February arrest is flashed onscreen. “He cracked me, but he didn’t break me.”
